1. сущ.1) общ. гам, гул, шум2) эк., амер. система выкриков, голосовая торговля (форма торговли, при которой торговые предложения выкрикиваются продавцом или покупателем; обычно термин используется для обозначения формы биржевой торговли, при которой продавцы и покупатели выкрикивают свои предложения; реже обозначает уличную торговлю с лотка или вразнос, при которой продавец выкриками зазывает к себе покупателей)Any person who offers goods, wares, merchandise, or medicines of any kind for sale by outcry on the streets shall be deemed a hawker under this ordinance. — В соответствии с данным постановлением, любое лицо, предлагающее на продажу товары, изделия или лекарства на улицах путем зазывания покупателей выкриками, должно считаться разносчиком товаров.
The provisions of this subsection shall not be construed to prohibit the selling by outcry of merchandise, food and beverages at licensed sporting events, parades, fairs, circuses and other similar licensed public entertainment events, nor to prohibit the selling of newspaper by outcry. — Условия этого подраздела не должны толковаться ни как запрещающие продажу путем выкриков продуктов, напитков и других товаров на разрешенных спортивных мероприятиях, процессия, ярмарках, цирковых представлениях и других подобных разрешенных общественных увеселительных мероприятиях, ни как запрещающие продажу газет путем выкриков.
